Join Lagoona Guide Service for spring fishing trips on Big Stone Lake! Captain Ryan welcomes you to join him on your next freshwater adventure. He has over 10 years of guiding these trips and knows these waters like the back of his palm. Capt. Ryan welcomes anglers of all skill levels, so it’s the right time to catch your first trophy!

You’ll be fishing on a 21’ Ranger that accommodates up to 4 guests. This angler boat is powered by a 250 HP Mercury Pro XS engine and quickly reaches your destination. All necessary fishing equipment is provided including G. Loomis NRX, and St. Croix legend Xtreme rods; and top-shelf Shimano and Daiwa reels.

Springtime fishing trips target Largemouth Bass, Walleye, and Crappie using light tackle approach. You get to keep the catch but note that Bass is only catch and release. After the trip, the captain will clean and fillet your catch, so you can count on some tasty dinner when you leave the boat.

All fishing equipment is included in the price, but you need to purchase your fishing license. Make sure to pack some sun protection, food, and drinks for the day. Also, make sure to wear weather-appropriate clothing.

    Lagoona Guide Service provides fully outfitted ice fishing experiences for perch and big bluegill on Big Stone Lake. Snowmobile and or SUV transportation is provided based on conditions. These ice fishing trips are well thought out and fully prepared. All you'll need is a fishing license, snacks, and beverages. Please be mindful of winter weather and dress accordingly for travel between spots.

    Full day trips can target largemouth bass, walleye, or crappie. Spring Bass fishing on Big Stone can produce both tremendous numbers and size. Large schools of early-season Bass make for fast fishing. Trophy fish of six and seven pounds plus are also a possibility out here. All Bass fishing is catch and release. Crappie and Walleye trips are also a popular springtime option!
