What a day we had on the water! Captain Brandon is a gentleman and a scholar. Fishing is obviously his passion. He also is quite personable and easy to talk to, which is important when you know you’ll spend hours with him in a small space.

Me and my girlfriend we did the 4 hours charter, and within that small time frame we caught 4 chinooks, 3 black rockfish, 1 coho, 1 lingcod and 1 green rockfish. I brought some home and Brandon was nice enough to fillet them for me.

This charter is one of the least expensive, a great choice if you are a party of 2. The boat isn’t fancy, but not ugly enough to scare the fish! I strongly recommend this charter.

Where do I start, it was brilliant, fantastic, exceptional value for money, after a morning out of Victoria that didn’t come up to scratch. Brandon was everything you could hope for, knowledgable, patient, interesting and went out of his way to ensure we had a lifelong memorable 5 hours salmon and prawn fishing.
We caught a few, lost a few, had a good laugh and learnt a lot about the area.
What a morning and I can’t recommend Brandon enough to anyone wanting to have a really fun outing. He even arranged for a mother and young otter to appear when cleaning our fish!
Brilliant, don’t hesitate go for it.

I’ve been fishing for 35+ years and have been on many charters all over the world.

What I’m always looking for is a reasonable rate, a solid craft, and excellent time spent.

Brandon provided all of that and then some.

We got into fish almost immediately, he manage to get us to calmer waters as the rough seas rocked our bellies, and the entire time managed our comfort and experience like a true pro.

This is not a drinking charter, not a party boat, not a luxury vehicle.

This is for people who want the best possible experience with an honest and earnest captain.

I can’t genuinely wait to get back in the boat with Brandon, and into some more fish.

Captain Brandon provided a memorable experience for my family trip.  He was extremely knowledgeable about the local habitat and fish behaviors, made beautiful and successful lures while out on the water after examining our catch’s dietary consumption, and patiently explained all of the processes upon request, a bright and thoughtful guide.  Two of us are in our 70’s.  Capt. Brandon was sensitive to our special needs without making us feel quite so old as we are.  Would I book with him again?  We are planning our trip for next year now.  And, it’s a bargain.

Between his laser sharp knowledge of fishing, crabbing and shrimping spots, attention to details, and overall friendly demeanour, Brandon was fantastic. He took time to answer all our goofy tourists question, demonstrated a keen understanding of the local history, and generously shared fishing lore. Best of all he was fairly priced. Highly recommend him.
