Join Brad Petersen Outdoors for a fun day at the lake. Boyd Lake is northern Colorado’s top multi-species Bass lake. Captain Brad is passionate about sharing the outdoors with children and novice anglers. Brad’s enthusiasm for fishing began while he worked at In-Camp Fisherman’s Fish and continues now as he assists in the development of the new and better Camp Fish program.

You’ll be fishing on an 18’ Lund that accommodates up to 2 guests. This bass boat is powered by a 135 HP Mercury engine and reaches the speed of 40 knots. Besides navigational electronics, you’ll also find safety gear on the boat.

When the lake rises in late May, it gives an excellent opportunity for exceptional Largemouth fishing deep or up in flooded cover. Smallmouth bass are plentiful, with the possibility of a 20" tank! With so many different cover presentation strategies to choose from, including flipping, topwater, cranking, and finesse, this is a terrific way to learn a new technique or simply have fun catching Bass in your favorite manner.

All fishing equipment is covered by the captain. He’ll also clean and fillet your catch after the trip. Don’t forget to bring your fishing licenses and pack some food and drinks for the day out.
