Description

Splittin’ Lips Charters offer a variety of trips aboard their two boats. Whether you want to fish inshore or offshore, to snorkel or spearfish, or to enjoy a romantic weekend on and around the water, Captain Joe Cascio will ensure the time you spend in the Florida Keys will be truly memorable.

Captain Joe’s offshore boat is an impressive 24 ft vessel that is fitted with a very roomy tower, which is perfect for scouting out the waters offshore. The boat was fully renovated in 2016 and features a new Mercury outboard motor and three baitwells for the ultimate fishing experience. It has plenty of space for four anglers plus the captain to enjoy the day.

Choose between fishing inshore or offshore to be in with a chance of catching anything from a Redfish to a Sailfish, with Mahi Mahi, Cobia, Snapper, Grouper, Jacks, Barracuda and many other species being potential targets along the way. Top of the range fishing gear is supplied on board, with both light and heavy tackle available, as well as spinning and conventional reels to suit your preferences. Fly fishing equipment can also be provided on request.

If you can’t decide which trip to take, why not make the most of your time in the Keys by booking a weekend package with Captain Joe. This brand new opportunity allows you to stay in Captain Joe’s comfortable lodging and sample his fantastic cooking in the evenings while spending your days snorkelling, fishing inshore, fishing offshore, lobstering, and snorkeling.

Captain Joe is friendly and likable.  He worked really hard to put us on fish.  Unfortunately, after three days of small craft advisories and postponing our trip, he couldn’t put us on fish.  He did give us some of our money back.  We fished for eight hours and caught one fish.  I think the bad weather leading up to our fishing day affected the bite.

Thank you for taking the time to write. Weather was the big factor that week. Give us a call next time you’re in the Keys. We’ll catch up.
