Tommyboys Charter Services
Fishing is fun for the whole family! At TommyBoys Charter Services, they want to ensure that you not only have a great day on the water but that they also teach you how to fish Galveston Bay. Captain Tommy and his crew will teach and coach you as much as needed the entire trip.
You’ll be fishing on a 22’ Cobia that accommodates up to 6 guests. This center console is powered by a 150 HP Yamaha engine that can reach the speed of 40 knots. The boat features Simrad navigational electronics, a toilet, professional fishing equipment, and a live bait tank.
A typical trip will always start with a short safety briefing and instructions for the day. You’ll then launch and, once you arrive to your fishing spot, you will be given a short lesson on the techniques for rod/reel handling, baiting, casting, and retrieving. When you hook up and yell "FISH ON!", you will be coached as much as needed to land your fish.
Upon completion of our trip, the crew will be sure to keep an eye out for the dozens of Dolphins that call Galveston Bay home as you head back to the dock. Upon reaching the dock, you can take pictures with the captain and the catch. You can also learn the filleting techniques while the crew cleans the day’s catch for you.
Your captain will take care of your fishing equipment, while you need to prepare your fishing licenses, snacks, and drinks.
Tommyboys Charter Services wants you to join them on their next adventure!
