Painter’s Guide Service – 22’ 

Painter’s Guide Service is located in Newport and offers to show the experience of fishing for Salmon in Oregon’s bays and rivers.

Kelly is a hands-on type of guide who aims to tailor every trip to your specific needs. His goal is to ensure that you have fun in the great outdoors, and he’ll do his best to put you on the fish. His happiness is to see the customers share the joy of fishing and he’s patient with kids.

You’ll be using techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, jigging, and spinning. You’re looking at 6-hour trips, where you’ll go after the likes of Coho and Chinook Salmon, depending on the weather and time of year.

Your boat for the day will be a 22’ River Wild that fits up to 5 anglers at any one time. All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what matters, fishing. Fishing licenses aren’t included, so make sure to get them before the trip.

You can keep anything you catch as long as it’s within the legal limits. If you want to bring the rest of the family along for the ride, kids are welcome aboard!
