The King Of Herrings
Spend the day with The King Of Herrings and get hooked on fishing in Valle Santa! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Alessandro can tell you all about the local fishery.
You’re likely to fish for Barracuda, Bluefish, Bluefin Tuna, Dentex, Little Tunny (False Albacore), Bonito, Squid, Blue Shark, Cod, Haddock, Garfish, and more, depending on conditions.
Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Feel free to take home some of the fish you catch, provided they’re within size and bag limits.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are never a bad idea – lucky for you, there will already be some on board!
You’ll be casting lines from an 18’ Walkaround with room for 2 passengers. It has and everything else you need for a productive day on the water.
Capt. Alessandro will supply rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, you’ll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect. Don’t forget to bring sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. There will be some light snacks included on board.
The King Of Herrings will make it easy for you to go fishing in Valle Santa. So, how about booking that trip?
