Mason was great.  Experience was great.  Mason took our family out for a half day and he did a great job trying to focus on quantity and frequency of catching fish to make sure the event was enjoyable, while, mixing up locations and types of fish.  When it was clear we were on to golliath grouper or snook that are large, we swapped out bait and tried to catch the large fish.  During the entire day we probably caught somewhere in the neighborhood of 30-40 fish with a lot of variety.  Several red fish, snapper, and mackerel.  Various other types as well including catfish, puffer, snook, and others.  Fun, friendly and accommodating.

Captain Mason took my husband and 3 boys (ages 10, 15 and 17) out for a half-day fishin excursion. My husband was incredibly impressed by Captain Mason’s maturity and professionalism. They had a fantastic experience; Mason was well-versed in all of the hot fishing spots; and our crew came back with 3 lbs of delicious ocean trout, which we cooked up at our vacation rental, and everyone devoured. It was absolutely delicious!! If you don’t want to cook the fish yourself, several restaurants on the island will take your fresh catch and prepare it for you as well. Highly recommend a charter with Mason!!

We had a great experience with Captain Mason. Booked short notice and he was very accommodating. We had 4 12 yr olds and he was great with all of them. we made 3 stops and everyone had catches. Hooking up with a 10-11 ft Hammerhead was certainly the highlight, and something the kids will be talking about for years. Great day on the water, thank you again Mason!

Capt Mason did a great job with our group, including two 6yo boys who wanted to do it all. He was very patient, accommodating, provided great info about the area and fish. We requested to fish for a shark and caught a GREAT one, he did an awesome job fighting it in. Excellent experience!

Captain Mason is definitely on top of what he’s doing! Super nice fishing spot and it’s a huge harvest!
