Fine Line Fishing Adventures wishes you a welcome to Vergennes. Captain Sterling Pelsue is a fully licensed charter captain primarily located on Vermont’s beautiful Lake Champlain specializing in Salmon and Lake Trout fishing year-round. Gather your friends and family and join him for a day of fishing full of fun and excitement. The captain is a lifelong angler who’ll do his best to put you on the fish and make your trip one to remember!
Your adventure will take place on a 22’ Sea Nymph aluminum fishing boat that can carry up to 5 anglers. This boat runs on a 350 HP Mercury Cobra engine and is equipped with a wireless trolling motor, outriggers, and downriggers.
Captain Sterling offers action-packed spring and summertime trolling for Trout and Salmon, bow fishing night trips, and late summer and fall jigging charters during the fall Lake Trout spawn. May through June is the most productive period for Walleye fishing, so the captain also offers combination Walleye trips with a night of bow fishing afterwards!
Just because the water freezes over in the winter doesn’t mean fishing stops here at Fine Line Fishing Adventures! Captain Sterling stays on Lake Trout year-round and nothing is more exciting than landing Laker through the ice on jig rods in a nice warm shanty. In addition, you can fish for Pike and Panfish as well.
All the bait and gear are provided for your trip. You must purchase a Vermont fishing license (3-day non-resident fishing licenses available). Also, bring some snacks and drinks to stay refreshed throughout the trip.
If you’re looking for a great way to spend a few days fishing this year, let Fine Line Fishing Adventures do the work for you while you enjoy the bounty and great times Vermont has to offer!
