Capt. Troy will make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 6-hour trips mainly fishing for Rockfish/Striped Bass, Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, Perch, Catfish, and Crab, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as live-lining, light tackle, bottom fishing, and trolling.

Your fishing adventure starts on a 42’ O’Neill Jones boat that can safely take up to 6 anglers. This boat comes with a dinette on deck, a bathroom/ toilet, and a cooler.

All rods, reels, and tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip. The boat is supplied with water for your pleasure. Be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions.

Please remember it is customary to tip the mate 20%.

    The Mallard will leave the dock around 6:00 a.m. for 6 hours of charter fishing. Your charter will take you out into the waters of the beautiful Chesapeake Bay targeting Rockfish (aka Striper/Striped Bass) by trolling, live-lining, chumming, and bottom fishing. The species also known to be caught during the Rockfish season are Catfish, Perch, Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, and Black Drum. You will return to the dock around 12:00 p.m. NOTE: 20% gratuity for the mate is not included in the price.
