Expect to use techniques like trolling, drift fishing, jigging, popping, and spinning, based on the species you’re targeting. Speaking of which, you have the option of 4 to 8-hour trips, where you’ll be fishing for the likes of Spotted Seatrout and Redfish, depending on the specific season and the day’s weather.

Your fishing adventure starts on a 22’ Cape Classic boat that can safely take up to 2 anglers. This boat features an ice box and wireless trolling motor. When it comes to rods, reels, and terminal tackle, everything you need is included in the price. The captain will supply all the needed fishing licenses for your trip.

You’ll find free drinks on the boat for your convenience, but you’re always welcome to pack your own drinks and snacks should you want to. Children are welcome aboard so you’re good to get the young ones started early.

    Fishing a full day charter allows for time to cover a larger area and enjoy your time on the water. We can target Speckled Trout, Redfish, etc, or split the trip and sightsee the many forms of wildlife the area offers.

I worked in pharmaceuticals for 30 years. In 2019, my wife and I decided to retire from the corporate world and enjoy the rest of our years on the water. I began fishing as a small boy and have fished the Coast of North Carolina since 2000. Later, I got my offshore charter business (Reel Time) along with a tackle shop. My passion now is inshore fishing targeting speckled trout and red drum. I am passionate about learning new techniques and enjoy sharing this knowledge every day that I can.
