Running angling trips out of Honolulu, Jigging Honolulu invites you to experience the Hawaiian fishery at its greatest. Your guide will be Capt. Akihiro. Before settling on O’ahu, he plied his trade fishing in Japan, Alaska, as well as Big Island. He’ll make sure your trip is enjoyable and as productive as possible.
Capt. Akihiro specializes in jigging trips. The Hawaiian waters are home to numerous reef species. These include Amberjack, Onaga, and Bonito, to name a few. On a typical trip, you’ll spend up to 8 hours targeting these amazing fish.
Your boat for the day will be a 26’ True World Marine that fits up to 4 anglers. The boat comes with a toilet to make sure you have the necessary comfort on full day trips.
You can rent rods and reels for $30 per person and jigs for $10 apiece. In the event that one is lost, there is a fee of $30 for it. Before your trip, you’ll also need to buy a Hawaiian fishing license.
To help preserve the ocean and keep it teeming with fish for generations to come, Capt. Akihiro usually practices catch and release. However, you can ask him about keeping some fish if you’d like to enjoy it for dinner.
There will be complimentary drinks aboard for your convenience during the trip, but feel free to bring your own drinks or snacks if you prefer.
Hop aboard Jigging Honolulu and embark on a one-of-a-kind adventure in the beautiful waters of Hawaii.
