Gone Fishing Cairns offers the most spectacular fishing adventures in Trinity Inlet! It is located in the heart of the city of Cairns and allows for some of the best Estuary fishing this region has to offer. Captain Jacob and Captain Russel have years of experience and are excited to show you the hottest fishing spots for the most productive day out.

Trinity Inlet is surrounded by lush greenery and rainforest-clad mountains that make it one of the region’s most diverse and productive fishing systems. You can explore these waters in the comfort of a 26’ Cairns custom craft boat. Depending on weather and tide conditions, you could catch more than 10 species from one productive spot.

This area is home to a great variety of species, including the famous Barramundi, Mangrove Jack, Great Trevally, Australian Salmon, Grunter, Jewfish, Fingermark, and Gold Spot Cod among other species. In all, approximately 50 species of fish populate this expansive system.

Above the water, the area offers a wealth of other wildlife to look out for. You can spot around 20 species of birds that include birds of prey, such as the osprey, brahminy kite, and the magnificent white-bellied sea eagle. Don’t forget to be on the lookout for saltwater crocodiles.

Included in the price are top-quality rods and reels. These won’t let you down – whether you are going after your first fish ever or your hundredth. Live bait is also included, and you do not need a fishing licence in this area. You are welcome to bring along your own food and drink on this trip – you’ll want to keep your energy up!

Book now for a wonderful day out with Gone Fishing Cairns! You might come as strangers, but you are sure to leave as friends.
