Based in Big Pine Key, Lower Keys Offshore Adventures offer family-friendly offshore, snorkeling, and reef fishing trips. The charters are run by Capt. Allen Prince, who has over 20 years of experience exploring the waters around the Florida Keys. He’ll share his knowledge with you and do his best to make your trip safe, enjoyable, and productive.

You’ll be fishing aboard a 26’ BullsBay center console. This boat is powered by two 140 HP Suzuki engines and is equipped with all necessary navigational and fishfinding electronics. It fits up to 6 anglers at any one time.

Capt. Allen offers a variety of fishing trips, which can take you fishing the reefs or further offshore. When reef fishing, you can expect to catch Snapper, Grouper, Amberjack, and more. If you decide to do some offshore trolling instead, you’ll see the likes of Sailfish, Tuna, Wahoo, Kingfish, and Mahi Mahi go after your bait.

Besides fishing, the captain also offers Lobster diving trips during their season. These tasty critters make for some of the most delicious meals out there, so you should definitely grab the opportunity to catch some.

Each trip includes the fishing tackle, bait, and licenses. The captain will also clean and bag your catch at the end of the trip so it’s ready for you to cook home. Bring some food and drinks, as well as your fins and masks if you plan on snorkeling. Kids are also welcome on board, making these trips ideal for bonding with your family.

We had an incredible experience fishing with Captain Allen! From the moment we stepped on board, he was kind, knowledgeable, and exceptionally patient—especially with our child, who is new to fishing. Captain Allen took the time to explain everything in a calm and supportive way, making sure our child felt included and confident throughout the trip. We were thrilled to catch some beautiful yellowtail snapper, and thanks to Captain Allen’s expert guidance, we learned a lot and had a blast doing it. The best part? We got to enjoy our fresh catch at a local restaurant later that day—it was absolutely delicious! This was more than just a fishing trip; it was a meaningful memory for our family. We can’t recommend Captain Allen enough for families looking for a fun and memorable day on the water. We will definitely book again with him in the future!

Great Day on the Ocean!

Full Day Trip – Fish & Snorkel on June 26, 2025 • 2 adults

My wife and I spent a great day out on the water with Allen! We did some trolling for Dolphin Fish and then fished for Snapper. Allen knew all the right places and did everything to make our fishing experience exciting! We were able to stop at a beautiful reef after and fit in a little snorkeling as well. Was a perfect day enjoying the beautiful Florida Keys thanks to Allen! Highly recommend booking a trip with him! Communication before the trip was excellent as we had to keep an eye on the weather. We will definitely book again!

Awesome experience that will happen again

Had a great experience today with Capt. Allen. Wanted to introduce my son to salt water fishing and Capt. Allen nailed it. Not only did he had a non-stop fishing adventure from catching Bonitas and Markel to Yellow Tail Snappers. Also Capt. Allen personality is very down to earth and friendly. It doesn’t feel like you are fishing with a private chatter, more like someone you have known for years. Definitely will go fishing with him again on my yearly trip down here. Highly recommend a full day fishing trip.

Great Day and Good Memories

Full Day Trip – Fishing on April 2, 2025 • 2 adults

The Capt'n was super easy to deal with. He Called and prepped us a day in advance had plenty of detailed instructions on who what where and when. Boat and equipment were clean and operational. Had a great day, caught fish and had pleasant company. He Cleaned our fish and recommended several restaurants that would cook our fresh catch. If you are traveling with your family and want an easy day on the water, Id highly recommend Captn Prince and Lower Keys Offshore Adventures.

What a blast!

Captain Allen was great! He put us on the fish throughout the day. He was patient and helpful with the kids and the novice adults. He was flexible and ensured we had a great time from start to finish, even with a little bit of wind throughout the morning. Highly recommend Captain Allen!
