Ready to catch some fish in Lewes De? Anglers Fishing Center is your ticket! Captain Ted will be your guide, which means you'll tap into years of professional experience.
Your vessel for the day is a 52' Rose Brother walkaround that holds up to 34 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods and reels are supplied for you, also bait and tackle. Be sure to ask about bait and lures as well.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
Your captain has the necessary fishing licenses. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

We booked a 5-hour inshore shark fishing charter with Captain Jackie and first mate (Captain) Pete, and it was a fantastic time for our whole group — six adults and three kids. Pete was wonderful with the kids, keeping them engaged and excited the entire trip, and Captain Jackie put us right on the fish. We ended up catching five sharks, which had everyone buzzing all day. As a bonus, we spotted several dolphins on the ride back in. The whole crew made the trip fun, safe, and easy for a mixed group of adults and kids. Everyone had a great time, and we’d highly recommend the Pirate King II to anyone looking for a memorable family-friendly fishing trip.
Although we didnt catch any keepers and only caught a ton of croakers, we had a great day! Capt Pete was very informative, easy to talk to and helped keep the 5 yr old entertained lol we got to see dolphins and despite the hazy, smoke filled air, we had some great views! i highly recommend them if your looking for a great experience!
We had a great experience with our family and friends, Pete and Jackie were absolutely wonderful and so kind and patient with our family. We did a 3hr trip and caught lots of fish and we had a great time overall! We will he back when we are in the area again!
Slow start, but Captain Pete knows his stuff. In no time, we had sharks on! Even hammered a 10’ 300 pounder too. Captain Pete is very knowledgable, friendly, and an all around good guy to spend the day fishing with. Highly recommend!
We caught four sharks on our trip, and learned a lot along the way from Captain Pete and Captain Jackie. Even in the down time they made it fun and engaging, especially for the three kids in our group. Awesome experience!
