Miss Carrabelle Fishing Charters
Explore the waters around Cozumel with Miss Carrabelle Fishing Charters and experience some of the best sport fishing! It’s a family business, run by Captain Jorge Jr with over 30 years of experience, and his children.
He is assisted by the able Capt. Wilbert, who has 16 years’ experience as a captain and knows how to show guests a good time. The group will make sure you have fun in the sun, whether you want to spend your whole time fishing, or take a scenic cruise around Cozumel.
Enjoy your day on board Miss Carrabelle – a 32’ Aquasport Tournament Master offshore sportfishing boat. Apart from its spacious deck and a large cockpit, what guests like about the boat is its fully fitted-out private bathroom.
At the same time, it is well-equipped for fishing, with a fighting chair, fishfinder, and all the appropriate first aid equipment. The flybridge and spacious bow make for excellent sunbathing spots if you want a break from fishing.
Since Cozumel is a world-famous location for game fishing it’s not surprising that the majority of fishing involves trolling with a variety of bait types and artificial lures. This is a great way to target the variety of fish found in the area, which can include Blue and White Marlin, Sailfish, Mahi-mahi, Bonito, and Barracuda.
If you’re coming to catch a Billfish, the best time for Blue Marlin is from late April until early September. Sailfish are usually great around late February. Whatever the season, you’ll be in for a treat, with Barracuda around pretty much year-round. Watch your catch be turned into fresh ceviche in front of you and you’ll wish you never had to leave!
Visit these prolific fishing grounds, and have an amazing time with Miss Carrabelle Fishing Charters!
