Reel Oregon Adventures – Gold Beach
This river has held a special place in my heart for many years. I remember my first trip to Gold Beach like it was yesterday, now almost 30 years ago.
Our day will start at the dock as we go through our safety briefing and get you up to speed on our Stryker rods and Okuma line counter reels. Once you are onboard and comfortable, we will cast off and get right to fishing! This is a very unique place, as we don’t spend much time without a line in the water. Our day will be spent in the lower river fishing for fresh fall Chinook, enticing a bite with perfectly spinning bait.
This is a great opportunity for all ages and skill levels. Our new boat has nice tall sides for safety and comfort, as you reel in the big one! There also is some opportunity for bottom fishing if the ocean allows and your interested, but our focus will be on Chinook Salmon in the bay.
There are several choices for accommodation in the area. With RV parks, hotel and vacation rentals. If you choose a place to stay with a dock, we are more then happy to meet you there for pick-up and drop-off.
We look forward to the opportunity to meet new clients and catch some amazing fish!
