Book your next trip with D.I. Reef Monster and discover what you’re missing in Dauphin Island. They specialize in offshore fishing and have the equipment to get it done. From high-speed trolling and deep dropping with electric reels to just basic bottom fishing the reefs.
There’s no guarantee when you’re fishing, but just some of the species you can catch around here include Amberjack, Snapper, Grouper, Tuna, Cobia, Wahoo, Gray Triggerfish, and more with any luck. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using heavy tackle.
You’ll be welcome aboard a 31’ Catamaran that can carry up to 6 passengers. It is rigged out with all the latest technology needed to catch fish and navigate safely. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself. Kids are welcome!
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips, and it’s customary to offer them a 10–20% tip. There’s no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.
It’s never a bad idea to bring snacks, drinks, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation. Just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. Pick-up and drop-off out of Fort Morgan is available.
Give yourself something to look forward to, and book a trip with D.I. Reef Monster!
