Tom Cat Fishing Charters
Hop aboard Captain Tom’s 34 ft SeaVee for an exciting fishing trip in Jupiter. The boat, powered by a 490 HP Cummins diesel engine, was designed to get charter customers to fish quickly and as comfortably as possible. With plenty of room for up to six anglers, quality electronics and lots of dry storage and rod holders, the boat is well-equipped to cater for your entire group. At the same time, two large live wells mean plenty of live bait can be taken with you to the fishing grounds, and a giant fish box filled with ice will keep your catch chilled before you head back to the harbor. All the quality rods, reels and tackle you might need on your trip are provided, the captain’s most-used being Shimano, Penn and Crowder.
Captain Tom employs a variety of fishing techniques including live bait kite fishing for Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Smoker Kings, Wahoo and more; bottom fishing for Snapper, Grouper and Amberjack; Shark fishing for big bulls, Tiger sharks, Hammerheads…. the list goes on. He can also help you try your hand at fly fishing or spin casting for trophy Spanish Mackerel, or take you night fishing for Snook. Whatever you’re after, Captain Tom will do his best to get you to the fish, according to the season of course.
Captain Tom and his first mate Brad Harrold have been chartering deep sea fishing trips out of the Jupiter inlet for the past ten years and know the area’s waterways in depth. Captain Tom is also a certified scuba diver and has explored many of the areas he fishes both underneath and above the water. This means his knowledge of the area’s deep sea fishing opportunities is top class.

After several weather delays my son and I were finally able to get our yearly fishing trip in. We were not disappointed. Unable to land the “big one” we still were able to land a good amount. John worked hard to keep us on the fish trying several locations and it paid off. He was extremely patient with my son and he had a blast. For as many as we caught we released the same amount due to size or type. We saw several sailfish and had our own personal shark circling the boat as well. Look forward to booking again.

My son and I went on a trip with captain Tom yesterday March 24. Wow what a trip we had.
Captain Tom put us on the fish right away with some nice snapper. We also caught some while we were in that spot.
Then started kite fishing and that’s where the real fun began. It wasn’t long until we had a sailfish on. Then my son got one on at the same time. I lost mine and he landed his. A little later I was able To land a sailfish. Another little while passes and we had anotjerbsailfish doible( both landed).
Then with an hour left in the trip, we snagged a triple of sailfish at the same time.mybson hauled in two of them and I hauled in one. 7 for 8 on sailfish for the day! Wow It was awesome to see my son catch his first sail. but for him to take 4 in one trip was truly amazing! Thanks Tom and mate Johnny!

Very professional. Didn’t waist a lot of time in unproductive. Caught a very fisty Sailfish and a bunch of snappers.
