When it comes to booking a fishing charter with Sidestep Fiji, its guests on board are its number one priority and the crew’s focus is not only catching fish but ensuring that it delivers the best possible experience. Captain Antonius and his deckhand are both qualified and dedicated Fijian seamen and fishing enthusiasts who also have vast experience on super yachts ensuring that their standard of service is top-notch.
In the clean ocean waters around Fiji, you will find a diverse selection of big and small game and reef fish catering to the fishing needs of all ages and levels of experience.
Fishing in crystal clear water is just an hour from Port Denarau, where popping, jigging, deep-dropping, and trolling are all part of the action in being able to land reef fish such as Snapper, Grouper, Giant Trevally, and Coral Trout or pelagic fish such as Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Sailfish, and Marlin.
Sidestep is a 32’ Bluewater Marine Fiji centre console, powered by twin 200 HP Yamaha V6 Commercial engines reaching cruising speeds of up to 35 knots. The boat is fully equipped with navigational equipment, a sound system, all safety equipment, outriggers, and all the necessary fishing gear including trolling rods, casting rods, jigging rods, an electric reel, harnesses, as well as all the tackle and lures needed to hook and land the fish.
All Sidestep Fiji’s charters are fully inclusive when it comes to catering. Guests will be provided with a range of soft drinks, bottled water, snacks, sandwiches, and ice.
Fresh towels and sunscreen are supplied on board for you to use. It can get really hot on the ocean so a hat, sunglasses, and swimming costume are a must.
The team working on Sidestep will gladly clean and fillet your fish if you would like to take your catch.
Tight lines and screaming reels are what Sidestep Fiji is all about, so join it for the day and make it yours!
