Ionian Fishing is located in Astakos, and it was created with a single purpose in mind, to provide you with the best possible private fishing tour in Greece.

Capt. Kostas aims to give you a taste of a true Ionian fishing experience and will do his best to please you. Depending on the trip and species, you’ll be using techniques like jigging, popping, and spinning. You’re looking at 6 to 12-hour trips, where you’ll usually go after the likes of Bluefish, Mahi Mahi, Barracuda, Amberjack, and Grouper, depending on the weather and time of year.

You’ll be fishing from a 19’ Trygons Ecorunner boat with enough room for up to 3 anglers at any single time. It also includes a wireless trolling motor. All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Please keep in mind you’ll need to get a fishing license before the start of the trip.

You’ll be able to keep any legal species caught during the trip according to local regulations and rules. The boat will be supplied with snacks and drinks for your convenience. Be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions or want to bring your own.

Captain Kostas is a sports fishing enthusiast from Greece. He previously worked as a writer for a number of local saltwater fishing publications, and later decided to use his knowledge to start teaching people how to fish. By sharing his expertise with other anglers from around the world, he aims to show them the fishing possibilities and diversity that Greece has to offer. In his own words: "I've been fishing around the world, trying to land every single game fish on the planet. My ultimate goal is to fish in every sport fishing hot-spot on my bucket list and share my experience with you!"
