About the Captain

Jim Leary
Guntersville, Alabama, United States
Member since November 2015
Captain Jim Leary has over 23 years of experience on the water. He grew up in a small town in Ohio, fishing the ponds with his father and grandfather. Having extensively fished the big waters of Lake Erie and the smaller inland lakes in Ohio, Jim started participating in various tournaments. His passion for Bass fishing began when his friend Steve took him around a local lake, so he decided to start his own charter business and share the knowledge with his guests. And even now, being an owner of a successful company, Jim enjoys taking part in fishing tournaments.

Jim was very informative, teaching multiple techniques and locations specific for Lake Guntersville.  The next day caught a 7 pound LM using the, knowledge provided by Jim.  Highly recommend him regardless of your level of fishing knowledge.
