Based out of New Hanover County, Brannin Charters is your ticket to a memorable time on the water.

The crew will do their best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. They specialize in light tackle, bottom fishing, fly fishing, drift fishing, gigging, jigging, popping, and spinning, all to get you on that bite. This involves 4 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Speckled Trout, Flounder, Black Drum, and Redfish, depending on the season and conditions on the day.

Your adventure begins on board an 18’ East Cape boat that can fit a maximum of 3 anglers. The boat is fitted with an ice box. All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip. All that’s up to you is to use it as best you can.

As for fishing licenses, everything will be taken care of by the captain so you don’t have to worry about it. You’re welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip.

Children are welcome aboard so you’re good to get the young ones started early.

    The 3/4 day trip is perfect for those that want to spend some extra time on the water. This trip gives you the opportunity to spend most of your day on the boat, fishing. If you want to try different styles of fishing, this is the excursion for you. For example, we can begin the day fly fishing or bait fishing and switch the styles depending on your preference throughout the day.

    The full day trip is great for anglers who are eager to spend their day fishing, giving ample time to try different fishing techniques and styles. We will be able to thoroughly fish and navigate the backwaters to fish the most ideal locations.
