Based out of New Hanover County, Brannin Charters is your ticket to a memorable time on the water.

The crew will do their best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. They specialize in light tackle, bottom fishing, fly fishing, drift fishing, gigging, jigging, popping, and spinning, all to get you on that bite. This involves 4 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Speckled Trout, Flounder, Black Drum, and Redfish, depending on the season and conditions on the day.

Your adventure begins on board an 18’ East Cape boat that can fit a maximum of 3 anglers. The boat is fitted with an ice box. All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip. All that’s up to you is to use it as best you can.

As for fishing licenses, everything will be taken care of by the captain so you don’t have to worry about it. You’re welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip.

Children are welcome aboard so you’re good to get the young ones started early.

Book your trip now and hit the water with Brannin Charters.

We are a family-run business of 15 years. We've been exposed to that island life and ocean from a young age, so it was a natural progression into what is now our full-time profession. From diving, Bluefin Tuna fishing, commercial fishing, and tournament fishing we have the opportunity to do what we enjoy every day and share our passion with others.

We were hoping for redfish Ans didn’t find any unfortunately. Definitely not from lack of trying. But we got a couple flounder...
