LA Redfish Outfitters runs angling trips out of Westwego and offers to show you what the local fishery is all about.
Capt. Austin is here to get you on some fish, and to make sure you have fun doing it. You’ll be using techniques like light tackle spinning, depending on what you’re going after. As part of their 6-hour trips, you will be targeting Largemouth Bass, depending on the current season and weather conditions.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 21’ Phoenix boat that can safely take up to 2 anglers. This boat features a wireless trolling motor. Please try to bring your own gear if possible. If you don’t have any, that’s fine too, just let Austin know. Don’t forget to buy a fishing license before the trip!
These trips are strictly catch and release, so expect to return anything you catch back to the water. Children are welcome aboard so you’re good to get the young ones started early.
