Learn how setup and deploy spider-rigs for crappie by pushing crankbaits and/or jigs from eight 14-16 foot-long rods mounted on the bow. This is an exciting and effective method for catching large numbers of deep, suspended crappie during their pre- and post-spawn seasons. The technique also selects for the larger 12-16 inch crappie. Of course, fishing is an integral "hands-on" part of the instructional program. Importantly, you are welcome to keep any fish caught, exclusive of bag and size limits.
