Based out of Placencia, Wayne Castellanos Tourguide will show you an adventure that will be the highlight of your time in Belize.

Capt. Wayne is friendly and attentive, but most of all, he knows about fishing! You’ll be using techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, fly fishing, drift fishing, jigging, and spinning, depending on what you’re going after. As part of their 8-hour trips, you can target species like Bonefish, Permit, Barracuda, Tarpon, Mahi Mahi, and Jack Crevalle, depending on the current season and weather conditions.

Your boat for the day will be a 26’ Pelican Built that fits up to 15 guests at any time. When it comes to rods, reels, and terminal tackle, everything you need is included in the price. As for fishing licenses, everything will be taken care of by the captain. You will share the catch with the crew, contact the captain before the trip if you have any questions about keeping the catch.

Here to help you with anything you need, the first mate will be on hand during the trip. Leaving a tip for a job well done is much appreciated. The price of your trip also includes complimentary snacks, drinks, and lunch, but you’re welcome to bring your own. This is a children-friendly charter, so you’re welcome to bring your kids on for a fun fishing adventure.

    A fishing or fishing and snorkeling trip! Leaving MnM gas station in Placencia from 8:00 a.m. and returning at 4:00 p.m. This trip is recommended for 5 to 8 persons for fishing. We can also do a fishing and snorkeling combo where, if a group of 10 or so wants to go out but not everyone wants to fish, some can stay and chill on an island while the others go fishing. Water, sodas, light snacks, and all fishing/snorkeling gear are included.
