Running angling trips out of West Bay, Cool Change Charters invites you to check out the local fishery in style.

Your captain will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. He specializes in bottom fishing, trolling, jigging, popping, and spinning, all to get you on that bite. This involves 4 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Dolphin, Marlin, Wahoo, Tuna, Queen Snapper, and Swordfish, depending on the season and conditions on the day.

You’ll be fishing from a 37’ seahunter boat with enough room for up to 8 anglers at any single time. It also includes a toilet and ice box. There will be complimentary drinks aboard for your convenience during the trip, but feel free to bring your own drinks or snacks if you prefer.

    Deep sea fishing is our most popular fishing charter option available, and our specialty. In particular, for this half-day option, we encourage getting the whole family out to have an authentic outdoor experience. A great option for all, children welcomed. We will hit the best Wahoo spots around the island and, depending on our group, we may venture in search of Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, or Marlin. Other common species we catch on these charters are Blackfin Tuna, Skipjack, and Barracuda.

Captain Dom is owner and operator of Cool Change Charters. Full throttle with everything he does in life, Dom understands the importance of providing exceptional customer service and is determined on delivering others the ultimate experience on the water. Growing up in Grand Cayman, studying at Southampton University, Captain Dom’s love for the water grew and he is wholehearted on sharing this with others. A dive master, licensed captain, and avid fisherman, he has spent an incredible amount of time out there and is extremely knowledgeable of the local waters and marine environment. Captain Dom is personable, patient, and innovative ensuring comfortable and relaxed, informative and exciting charters.
