Capt. Donnie has lived in the Galveston area since he moved there as a kid in the mid 60s. As soon as his family settled in, his dad purchased a 25' cabin cruiser, and since then Donnie knew that he was going to spend the rest of his life on and near the water. He has been fishing Galveston Bay, the Galveston Jetties the offshore opportunities in the area most of his life.

Two friends and I had a great time on the Sea Play.  Would consider doing this again soon.

Great captain and crew. Would definitely go with these guys again. nice boat with a toilet. Very important on a 6 hour trip. Especially for the wives and kids.

The Sea Play Sport Fishing Trip was a very nice trip. The boat was in very good shape. We travelled over to the Bolivar and fished near the Jetty. We caught Sheephead and Sand Trout. We ran out of live bait after about 3 hours and this ended our fishing around the jetties. We then tried to catch big Fish in the Bay (off of cut bait mullet) This was fruitless as the big fish were not biting.  The crew was good, supportive, engaging and fun. My biggest critique is that the cost of the trip was $500 but we had to come up with an additional $150 for the crew. I suggest that an estimated expected tip should be encluded on the webpage. That way the customer is not surprised about this additional cost.
