Departing from Black River, Sport Fishing Mauritius offers fishing trips with a backdrop that can only be described as paradise. Captain Adnaan and his partner Jérôme will share their passion for fishing with you, and teach you all you need to know about angling in this slice of heaven.

Your adventure will start aboard their 36’ semi-cabin cruiser, called "La Légende." The boat was fully refurbished in 2022 and it can cater to up to 10 passengers, with 5 being the recommended number of anglers. La Légende is powered by twin 250 HP Mercury Verado engines, getting you to the fishing spots quickly and in style.

Mauritius features an almost endless choice of top fisheries. Whether you want to stay in the lagoon, fish behind the barrier reefs, or head to the offshore hotspots, it’s all possible. Depending on the type of fishing you choose, you’ll get to target Blue and Black Marlin, Sailfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Giant Trevally, Snapper, Emperor, Grouper, and more.

On a typical trip, the crew keeps the catch. However, they’ll fillet some fish for you to take home as well. You’ll also get to take part in catching live bait during the trip, with Capt. Adnaan’s help, of course. He’ll also supply you with quality professional tackle, lures, as well as drinks.

Captain Adnaan owns and operates Sport Fishing Mauritius. Fishing has always been his passion, since he could remember. He has been fishing since he was a kid, since he was only 11 years old. Light tackle was always his weapon of choice. Adnaan always wanted to fish full-time so he decided to start his own business.
