If you’re looking for a relaxing as well as a fun day of river fishing, CNH Guide Service is the right choice. Captain Cary Hofmann welcomes you to the Cowlitz river near Olympia Washington and offers to take you river fishing for Salmon. Captain Cary is a lifelong angler with a great love for taking people out on the water and will do his best to provide an enjoyable trip and help you learn something new. Pick your day and join him aboard!

The vessel you’ll be fishing from is a 22’ Wooldridge aluminum fishing boat that can fit up to 4 anglers. It runs on a 225 HP Evinrude E-TEC engine that can reach speeds of up to 36 knots. The boat also uses modern GPS, radio, and fishfinder electronics to ensure efficient and smooth movement across the water.

You and Captain Cary will be jigging and drift fishing for Coho Salmon using light tackle. Feel free to keep the fish you catch if you want to. Otherwise, you’ll just return it back to the water.

All the rods, reels, tackle, and lures needed for a successful day are included in the price. The captain can also clean and fillet your catch free of charge, if you decide to keep it. Before you step aboard, just make sure you have valid fishing licenses and some snacks or drinks to stay fresh during the trip.
