Half day trip for 8 guys on a bachelor party most of which have fishing experience. We spent $1100$+ to fish within site of the bridge next to the marina we left from. We caught more short yellowtail than keepers because we were in too close to shore. There weren’t enough rods for all 8 to fish at once. The captain stopped our fishing twice so he could throw the net at ballyhoo that he saved for his next trip out. The captain and mates were all nice guys and the trip was fun. Just don’t expect to catch much. Or anything of size. Fish of the day was a 14” yellowtail. I expected more for the money we spent

Worst charter ever!!!!!
We scheduled a half day trip for 11 people on the hot diggity dog. When we arrived that morning we were told the a/c was broken. They offered to have us reschedule for the next day, or take our boat with no a/c or take another boat. We chose to take our original boat without a/c and asked for a discounted price. The captain agreed and off we went. Our mate Trevor was awesome and helped do everything for us. We weren’t catching anything and asked to move spots the captain said the fish will come. A little bit longer went by still nothing, but the captain still didn’t want to move. The mate asked to move, we the “customers” wanted to move and nothing. At the end of our trip 11 people caught 3 small yellow tail. We could catch more than that off the bank. $1400 to not even be able to feed anyone. The next morning we went to a local bait store to buy bait for more fishing and the a few people at the bait store said we got the worst charter in the keys! The captain goes to the same spot and doesn’t move! The mate apologized for what a bad day. We could see other boats catching fish, but Needless to say what a crappy way to start our vacation.
