Ali Kat Sportfishing specializes in inshore, nearshore, and offshore trips and can put your group on the fish. From Speckled Trout, Red Drum, and Flounder to Spanish and King Mackerel, the crew will go above and beyond to target what you wish. If you want more action, venture out to the deep blue for Marlin, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, and Tuna, as well as the bottom fishing buffet the coast has to offer: Seabass, Trigger, Grouper, and Snapper, just to name a few.

With over 30 years of experience, Captain Jason Temple will put your group on the fish. He can accommodate 2 - 6 people on his 30’ Twin Vee PowerCat. The boat is powered by twin 300 HP Suzuki engines, rigged extensively with navigation electronics, and equipped with various gear to make your chase more efficient and fun. It also features a toilet and an ice box.

For your trip, you should only bring the snacks and drinks of your choice, as the captain will take care of all the fishing equipment and licenses.

Absolutely Phenomenal – Beyond Expectations!

Absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish! We’ve been taking boat chirps for years in NC, and this was hands-down the best experience. The crew didn’t just take us fishing—they created a full-on adventure. They came completely prepared, taught us the best tricks for bait, catching fish and shared their knowledge with patience and humor, and made us feel like part of their family. Every detail was taken care of, the service was top-notch, and the laughs never stopped. This was 10/10, unforgettable, and we’ll be talking about it for years to come! Randy and Austin even suggested a place to get all the fish made and it was the best meal!! 🍽️

Great Day Catching Sharks!

Half Day Trip – Shark on August 13, 2025 • 2 adults • 2 children

First time chartering a boat and it was a great experience for our family. My son loves to fish so we decided what a better way to entertain both kids (son, 11yo & daughter, 10yo) than to go shark fishing. Started at 7am catching some bait then made it out further for the sharks. We were able to get 3 on the boat but had a lot of other bites. Captain Randy and Adam were fantastic the whole trip; Randy kept giving the kids compliments on how well they handled the rough waters while we were out. All around fun experience, 10/10 would book with Ali-Kat again!

Amazing Fishing Day

3/4 Day Trip – Nearshore on September 24, 2025 • 5 adults

Captain Jason and the First Mate Adam are absolutely awesome. The fish weren't biting too much today, but the weather and company were still well worth it. I highly recommend reserving these guys for your next fishing trip. They were great teachers and really taught us even more about sea fishing since this was all of our first time. We caught about 20 fish to take home that they filleted for us. Definitely recommend Alli-Kat Sport Fishing for your next trip!

Fantastic day on the water

Half Day Trip – Inshore (AM) on August 31, 2025 • 2 adults • 1 child

Captain Jason put us on the fish right out of the gate. Our grandsons first time saltwater fishing and he really did an awesome job landing 17 himself! Boats mate Adam did and incredible job managing the catches where 2 or 3 fish were being brought onboard at the same time. We’ll be back for sure to go out deeper now that ‘lil man is an angler. Be sure to give Jason and his crew a look if your coming this way and want the best experience!

Labor Day Weekend Morning Trip

Half Day Trip – Shark on August 30, 2025 • 2 adults

Great time. Communications with the CAPTAIN was excellent as we coordinated the morning arrival. Departed on time and quickly got to the fishing grounds. Caught several Spanish Mackeral and then switched to Shark fishing. Caught 4 Atlantic Sharp Nose. Spent the rest of the trip trolling for fish and caught several on the way in. Clean boat, deckhand very helpful and attentive. Would definitely book CAPTAIN Jason again.
