Capt. Caleb will do his best to make sure you don’t end up empty-handed. He specializes in bottom fishing for Trumpeter, Cod, Gurnard, and Tarakihi. You’re welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip. And we’re sure you’ll reach the limit in no time!

Moeraki Fishing Charters proudly presents its comfortable boat that can safely accommodate up to 15 anglers. The boat is equipped with a toilet, which is perfect for longer outings. The price of your trip includes all the rods, reels, and tackle, as well as free snacks and drinks.

Fishing license and bait, however, aren’t included in the price, so please make sure to get in touch with the captain ahead of time and consult with him on how to go about purchasing them.

This is a children-friendly charter, so you’re welcome to bring your kids on for a fun fishing adventure. There will be a first mate on board to help you with the little ones or anything fishing-related you may need. Tips for good service are always appreciated.
