Based out of Avon, Eagle River Outfitter is your ticket to a memorable time on the water.

Guide David is here to get you on some fish, and to make sure you have fun doing it. You’ll be fly fishing on their 4-hour trips where you can target species like Cutthroat Trout, Brown Trout, and Rainbow Trout, depending on the current season and weather conditions.

Fly fishing gear is included in the price of your trip, but you’re more than welcome to bring your own. Please keep in mind you’ll need to get a fishing license before the start of the trip.

Eagle River Outfitter offers only catch and release trips, so any fish you catch will be returned to the water. You’ll find water on the boat for your convenience, but you’re always welcome to pack your own drinks and snacks should you want to.

Children are welcome aboard so you’re good to get the young ones started early.

    A half day walk and wade trip with Eagle River Outfitter starts by meeting your guide on the river at a predetermined location for four hours of fly fishing fun. Your guide(s) bring the waders and boots to the fishing location so no valuable fishing time is wasted at a fly shop. Eagle River Outfitter staff will have all the fishing gear necessary - rods, reels, flies, terminal tackle. They’ll also have cold beverages.
