Running angling trips out of Destin, Charter Boat Starfire invites you to check out the local fishery in style.

Capt. Bill aims to tailor every trip to your specific needs, so let him know what you’re after! Depending on the trip and species, you’ll be using techniques like bottom fishing and trolling. You’re looking at 3 to 8-hour trips, where you’ll usually go after the likes of Snapper, King Mackerel, Amberjack, Cobia, Grouper, and Wahoo, depending on the weather and time of year.

Your fishing adventure starts on a 38’ Silverton boat that can safely take up to 6 anglers. This boat features a toilet, AC, and an ice box. All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip. All that’s up to you is to use it as best you can.

No need to worry about fishing licenses, as they will be provided and handled by the charter. You can keep anything you catch, as long as it’s legal to do so.

There will be a first mate on board to help you with anything you need. Tips for good service are always appreciated. This is a children-friendly charter, so you’re welcome to bring your kids on for a fun fishing adventure.

    The day trip!! Spend 8 hours inshore with a variety of activities from trolling, bottom fishing, and rock or structure fishing. Since we are required to stay within state waters, this trip will never be farther than 9 miles from the shoreline. We aim to catch snapper, trigger fish, amberjack, grouper, mackerel, mahi mahi, and maybe the occasional shark. Although recommended for the experienced angler, if this is your first time, we can teach you what you need to make it a memorable experience.
