Crazy Banana Charters runs angling trips out of Tavernier and offers to show you a fun saltwater fishing experience!

Capt. Randy and Capt. Ray will do their best to ensure you enjoy a day full of fishing. He specializes in light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, drift fishing, and jigging, all to get you on that bite. This involves 4 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Mahi Mahi, Snapper, Grouper, King Mackerel, Snook, and Amberjack, depending on the season and weather conditions.

You’ll be fishing from a 34’ Venture boat with enough room for up to 6 anglers at any single time. It also includes a toilet. The price of your trip includes all the rods, reels, and terminal tackle you’ll need for a productive day on the water.

Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. The Captain will provide bottled water, and feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks.

You’ll be able to keep any legal species caught during the trip. There will be a first mate on board to help you with anything you need. Tips for good service are always appreciated.

This is a children-friendly charter, so you’re welcome to bring your kids on for a fun fishing adventure.

    The half-day is a 4-hour reef or wreck fishing trip. We will target yellow tail snapper and bottom fish. We provide all the tackle and bait needed for the trip! The trip price is for 4, and we can accommodate up to 6 people with an additional charge for the extra guests.

    This is a 4-hour trip fishing the wrecks or reefs. We will target yellow tail snapper and bottom fish while yellow tailong. The trip is for up to 4 people but we can take up to 2 additional people for an extra fee. We will provide everything that is needed for you to have a successful trip! We will provide bottled water. Anything else you would like to drink or eat, please bring with you.

    This trip is a 6-hour offshore fishing trip. We could fish for Sailfish, mutton snapper, grouper, Mahi Mahi and Wahoo by doing deep drop or vertical jigging. We will provide the fishing licenses for everyone and all the fishing gear needed for success.
