Based out of Cartersville, Orion Fishing Charters offers freshwater fishing in the magnificent waters of Etowah River, Oostanaula River, Coosa River, Lake Allatoona, and Carters Lake.

Come on aboard with Capt. Chris, whose main priority is to get you on some fish while experiencing the great outdoors. Expect to use techniques like light tackle, trolling, jigging, and spinning based on the species you’re targeting. Speaking of which, you have the option of 4-hour trips, where you’ll be fishing for the likes of Hybrid Striped Bass, Catfish, Bass, Garfish, Sunfish, and Crappie, depending on the specific season and the day’s weather.

Your fishing adventure starts on a 21’ Sea Hunt boat that can safely take up to 4 anglers. This boat features an ice box and a wireless trolling motor. Make sure to bring a cooler to keep your catch. When it comes to rods, reels, and terminal tackle, everything you need is included in the price.

Fishing licenses aren’t included, so make sure to get them before the trip. You’ll be able to keep any legal species caught during the trip, and catch cleaning and filleting is 2 USD per fish for up to 12 fish.

My love of fishing began with my first catch of a wild Brown Trout as a child, from that point, I haven't met a fish I did not like. The sport of fishing appeals to me because of the beautiful, wild destinations it takes me in the great outdoors. Fishing can be as simple, or extravagant as one prefers and every day has something different to offer. I love to fish, so if I'm doing something I love, it's not work, therefore I'm not working another day of my life!
