If you are in the Fort Lauderdale area and are looking for the fight of a lifetime look no further! We will be targeting GIANT Tarpon and Snook on relatively light tackle, hooking into fish in the 100lb+ range. These big Tarpon put on quite a show, jumping 6+ feet out of the water, pulling a TON of drag, breaking a lot of gear and a lot of hearts. But if you have the determination and with a little bit of luck you just might land the fish of a lifetime. Come out and test your skills against the most prized inshore fish in the world, The Silver King, Tarpon!
Captain Dennis specializes in inshore fishing for large Snook and Tarpon. He offers half-day charters for up to 4 anglers and will also supply all necessary bait and tackle. Sticking mainly to calm inshore protected waters, there’s no need to worry about getting seasick on his boat.
Family and kid-friendly, they cater to all experience levels, from the avid angler to the first-time fisherman. Times are flexible, so send the captain a message and let him know if there is a time that works better for you.

5 Hour Morning Snook & Tarpon
Birthday trip
I let me son chose his birthday trip this year and he chose fishing with captain dennis. We flew down from South Carolina and he did not dissapoint. Loved the fact he took time to explains the rules and techniques to my 8 year old but also gave him the rod…got us on the fish and honestly we had such a great time even if we didn’t catch anything we would be back next year.

Captin Dennis put us on fish.
Captain Dennis put us on fish, morning trip, windy, blue skys. Jacks outcompeted tye other fish, many boates, no snook, many tarpon surfacing. Last chance spot produced a tarpon for my daughter!

Tarpon and Snook at Night!
Captain Dennis was a real fishy guy! We caught tarpon , snook and snapper. Also had 2 huge barracuda break.off. He worked real hard to keep actively eating fish in front of us. The Fort Lauderdale lights from a boat is something everyone should see! I highly recommend Flat Bottom Charters and we will be back again next time I am in Florida!

Great Adventure with Captain Dennis! It was an awesome experience with catching a fish. I caught blue runner, barracuda, moon fish, tarpon and many other fishes. It was a great action with big fishes eating small fishes in the air. I strongly recommend you captain Dennis night fishing at 5 pm!

Stellar experience with Captain Dennis! Boat was clean, Captain Dennis clearly experienced and best of all...Fish On! So fun catching my first tarpon. Only slight negative is the captain took us in 30 minutes early. Not sure why. But a fantastic experience and for sure we'll book with him again. Thank you!
