Book your next trip with Highline Tours and find out what keeps anglers coming back to Malé for more!
Bonito, Jack Crevalle, Mahi Mahi, Blue Marlin, Wahoo, Giant Trevally, and more are in the cards, depending on the time of year. During the trip, you might be trolling, drifting, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area. For the more adventurous among you, there’s spearfishing.
You’re free to take home some of the fish you catch, assuming they meet regulations. Catch cleaning is available, so you can take your fish ready to throw it right into the pan. The charter boat covers your fishing license, which means all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.
Your trip begins aboard a 32’ Center console that holds up to 7 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water, and there’s a toilet on board. Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it ahead of time, so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to assist you and make sure everything is running smoothly. It’s customary to tip the Mate 10%–20% at the end of the day to show your appreciation. Some essentials you’ll want to bring are a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is not allowed. There will be snacks available on board.
The click of a button is the only thing keeping you from a great day on the water with Highline Tours!
