Takedown Charters is located in Islamorada and offers to take you on the offshore sportfishing adventure you’ve been craving!
Capt. Greg tailors to expert and novice anglers alike. Regardless of your level, you’ll learn something new from him. Depending on the trip and species, you’ll be using techniques like bottom fishing and trolling. You’re looking at 4 to 10-hour trips, where you’ll usually go after the likes of Mahi Mahi, Barracuda, Sailfish, Wahoo, Cobia, and Grouper, depending on the weather and time of year.
Your fishing adventure starts on a smooth-riding 41’ Cabo boat that can safely take up to 6 anglers. The vessel’s been carefully maintained inside and out. The cabin is fully equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, dining area that turns into a comfortable bed, a toilet, and fresh water. It also features an ice box and a fighting chair.
When it comes to rods, reels, and terminal tackle, everything you need is included in the price. The captain will supply all the needed fishing licenses, and you’re welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip. There will be a first mate on board to help you with anything you need. Tips for good service are always appreciated.
The price of your trip also includes complimentary drinks, but you’re welcome to bring your own. Please let the captain know if you have any questions or special requests. Kids are welcome aboard, so you’re free to make it a family adventure.
