Running angling trips out of Grand Baie, The Wan Fishing invites you to check out the local fishery and chase the fish of a lifetime!
Located in the heart of the Indian Ocean, Mauritius is known for its great Big Game Fishing.
Come on aboard with Capt. The Wan, whose main priority is to get you on some fish. Expect to use techniques like light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, big game fishing, drift fishing, handline, jigging, popping, and spinning, based on the species you’re targeting. Speaking of which, you have the option of 5 to 9-hour trips, where you’ll be fishing for the likes of Wahoo, Marlin, Tuna, Barracuda, and Amberjack, depending on the specific season and the day’s weather.
Your boat for the day will be an 18’ Baymaster that fits up to 2 anglers at any one time. The boat comes with an ice box and a fighting chair.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing.
You’re welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip.
You’ll find free snacks and drinks on the boat for your convenience, but you’re always welcome to pack your own drinks and snacks should you want to.
