In the surf you fish the deeper parts of sloughs where the white flaky high priced tasty pompano and other smaller species alike congragate to feed in the turbulent wash. With the addition the same larger species usually sololey targeted on a inshore charters! Usually in the surf there is bigger bull reddrum, blackdrum, and on rare occassians on calm days huge tarpon, king or a cobia drone fishing!

Come join Jeremy Dumont, born and raised local, with over 35+ years of fishing knowledge from 50+ miles offshore to backwater flats fishing in St Augustine. He will share this knowledge of fishing the beach to show you how to read the surf, what species are running at a particular season and what those species are feeding on, and what tackle and equipment to use and where to use it.

Surf Fishing Charters:
Guided and he shares his knowledge of casting surf rods into the surf.
Let your guide know if you need a certain starting time, otherwise, he will choose the best time and location for fishing that day. Surf fishing sololey depends on tides, winds. currents, and swell.

Surf Fishing Outtfitter:
Non guided, you take rods and equipment and cast surf rods into surf.
Pick-up/drop-off times strictly enforced. Late drop-off charge is $10 fee for every 15 mins past after return time.

Public parking with bathroom facilities nearby.
Note: Transportation to/from the beach location is not provided by the guide/outfitter

NOTE: All Charters/Outfits:
*Upon arrival, each individual must provide the Guide with an FWC issued Florida Saltwater Shore fishing license and sign a waiver. It’s free for FL residents and costs $17 per individual nonresident.
