Based out of Goodland, Shotime Charters is your ticket to a memorable time on the water.

Capt. Eddy is here to get you on some fish, and to make sure you have fun doing it. You'll be using techniques like bottom fishing, drift fishing, jigging, and spinning, depending on what you're going after. As part of their 4 to 6-hour trips, you can target species like Redfish, Snook, Snapper, Black Drum, Spotted Seatrout, and Grouper, depending on the current season and weather conditions.

Your fishing adventure starts on a 25' Contender boat that can safely take up to 6 anglers. This boat features an ice box, and a wireless trolling motor.

All the necessary fishing gear is included in the price of your trip. All that's up to you is to use it as best you can. No need to worry about fishing licenses, as they will be provided and handled by the charter.

You're welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip.

You'll find free drinks on the boat for your convenience, but you're always welcome to pack your own drinks and snacks should you want to.

Unforgettable Day on the Water with Captain Eddy!

From the moment we set out, Captain Eddy’s energy and expertise made it clear we were in for a fantastic fishing adventure. He knew exactly where to go, and within minutes we were reeling in catches. His knowledge of the waters, top-notch equipment, and easygoing personality made the whole trip both successful and fun. What really stood out was how patient and encouraging he was, whether giving tips to improve our casting or celebrating every catch. At the end of the day, we had a cooler with fish and a head full of great memories. Best fishing guide near Marco Island!

My son and I fished with Shotime Charters this week and had a great time. Eddy was very responsive to our messages through Fishing Booker prior to our trip from Texas. We caught five different species of fish (two types of grouper, snapper, catfish & snook) and were hooking fish most of the 4-hour trip. The drive from the JW Marco Island was about 15 minutes and the boat ramp was very easy to find. We learned that Eddy is the choice of several major fishing brands for their team charters in the Marco Island area. I’m always unsure if I can trust online recommendations, but you won’t go wrong with Eddy and Shotime Charters. After our trip we took our catch to nearby Cocomo’s Grill and had it prepared two ways, blackened Cocomo’s style and Jalapeño crusted. Do this, it was one of the best overall fishing experiences we have had!

Fantastic experience

Captain Eddy was fantastic! His boat and equipment are great. He got us on fish quickly and moved to different areas as needed. He also spotted some dolphins coming to the surface, and we were able to watch them play near the boat. Eddy is a 5 star guy for a reason, and there is no need to look anyplace else! Thanks for a great trip!

Christmastime Fishing

2 hour fishing for beginners on December 23, 2025 • 5 adults

Went out with Eddie for a quick two hour trip. My only complaint is with myself! Should have booked the half day! Had a great time and the two hours flew by. We caught a good amount of fish (snook, snapper, jacks, and grouper) and the captain joined in on our jokes and laughs. I’d 100% go again! Thanks Captain Eddie!

5 Stars – Amazing Charter with Captain Eddy!

We had an incredible time on our 4-hour fishing charter exploring the Ten Thousand Islands with Captain Eddy. The scenery was stunning, and we caught a great variety of fish—ladyfish, snapper, speckled trout, Goliath grouper, snook, and crevalle jack. Captain Eddy was super chill, friendly, and made the whole experience fun and stress-free. He was very knowledgeable about the area and the species we were catching, and always helpful with rebaiting hooks and giving tips. Whether you’re experienced or a first-timer, he’s the kind of captain you want. We’re already planning on coming back and booking with him again!
