Operating out of Sydney Harbour in New South Wales, Fishfinder Fishing Charters aim to provide you with a quality fishing experience in this famously productive fishing spot. Known as one of the world’s most beautiful and accessible waterways, the harbour leads to impressive offshore game fishing opportunities as well as hosting a large variety of sportfish such as Marlin and Tuna. Great tasting and fun reef fish such as Snapper, Perch and Kingfish are also abundant in the area.
Fishfinder charters are held aboard a recently renovated 45 ft Harriscraft that was built in Western Australia. Powered by a Cummins 400 HP engine, the boat can take you far offshore in search of your ultimate trophy fish. Its design makes for a very comfortable and stable ride even in bad weather, and its expansive deck space makes it a great fishing platform. Equipped with extensive tackle (sponsored by Shimano), as well as the full range of safety equipment and navigational electronics, including a TMQ sea-plot system and Furuno fish-finding technology, Fishfinder is well furnished to do what its name suggests! Inside the cabin there is an electric toilet with a wash basin and a kitchen with a microwave and refrigerator. An extended awning over the deck increases anglers’ comfort even further. Famous personalities to have fished aboard Fishfinder include the South African National Cricket Team, and the boat is Shimano Tackle Co. Australia’s preferred Sydney vessel.
Fishfinder is owned and operated by Capt. Tony Davis, who has 23 years of experience in the charter industry. He and his able crew have extensive local knowledge that allows them to get you to the hot spots fast. They will guide you to the terrific fishing found off ‘the heads’ and beyond before dropping you off to the wharf of your choice. A variety of delicious culinary options can be prepared on board made fresh from your catches: please inquire for more details
