Based out of Matagorda, Captain Shannon’s Charters is your ticket to a memorable time on the water.
Capt. Zack will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. He specializes in light tackle, heavy tackle, and fly fishing to get you on that bite. This involves 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Redfish, Flounder, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Tripletail, and Sheepshead, depending on the season and weather conditions.
Your boat for the day will be a 24’ Haynie that fits up to 5 anglers at any one time. The boat comes with an ice box, and a wireless trolling motor.
The price of your trip includes all the rods, reels, and terminal tackle you’ll need for a productive day on the water. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time.
You’re welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip.
The boat will be supplied with drinks for your pleasure, be sure to let the captain know if you have any questions or want to bring your own.
This is a children-friendly charter, so you’re welcome to bring your kids on for a fun fishing adventure.
