Game Fishing in Andaman took a reliable and affordable chapters as Bite Me Fishing Charters started runs angling trips out of Port Blair and offers to show you what the local fishery is all about.
Capt. Santosh aims to tailor every trip to your needs, so let him know what you’re after! Depending on the trip and species, you’ll use techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, fly fishing, drift fishing, jigging, popping, and spinning. You’re looking at 6-hour trips, where you’ll usually go after the likes of Trevally, Barracuda, Marlin, Tuna, Sailfish, and Mackerel, depending on the weather and time of year.
You’ll be fishing from a 30’ AquaInd boat with enough room for up to 8 anglers at any single time. It also includes a toilet and an ice box.
When it comes to rods, reels, and terminal tackle, everything you need is included in the price. No need to worry about fishing licenses, as they will be provided and handled by the charter.
The price of a given trip doesn’t include bait, so be sure to get in touch with the captain about what your options are prior to the trip.
Bite Me Fishing Charters – Andaman offers only catch and release trips, so any fish you catch will be returned to the water.
Capt. Santosh runs trips together with his first mate, who’s there to help you with whatever you may need. Tips are always appreciated for a job well done.

Day trip with Captain Santosh
8 Hour Trip – Experience Fishing on October 7, 2024
It was an amazing experience. The host has thought of everything that would make us comfortable. It started from picking us up from our hotel (even though that was not included in the package). He asked for our food preference and any additional request on the previous day so that it will be arranged. On the trip, he made us very comfortable and explained the fishing basics patiently. The best part was the snorkeling where a buoy tied to the boat pulled us for a while. It takes something special to have all ratings as 5 stars. And I now understand how Mr.Santosh does it.
