Humans are cube boxes with sides made of mirrors. Too often greed dirty these sides. However once in a rare while a cube is clean and you could catch a reflection of yourself…you’d have found a “soul-mate” irrespective of age or profession.
On the boat you will recognize your better self in Captain Mike and his teammate in spectacular surroundings and during the “hunt” you will feel like a million….which is the reason it’s a 5 stars overall experience.

I would like to say that since the moment we stepped on the doc to meet Captain Mike and Deckhand Cody we were treated great!
Super chill vibe and very knowledgeable with the process, great hospitality and an amazing comfortable clean boat these guys run!
It was great just all around great conversations with Captain Mike and Cody and when the reel starting scream it was GAME TIME!
They instructed and coached what to do very clearly and professionally that my 14 year old son landed his first black Marlin 250lbs

Aloha everyone, I have over 35 yrs of military, LE and civilian boating/fishing experience.  I came down to the harbor to do some recon on the Beast Mode boat / crew that I was considering for our trip. I found Captain Mike and 1st mate Cody detail cleaning/prepping an immaculate ship! This was an indication that these men are attention to detail oriented( professionals). The lures/ rigs / poles were also of excellent quality and precision. Lastly, the electronics/ sonar on this boat are second to none! When hunting big blue marlin monsters this is a must!!!  Most of all, I am thankful for the opportunity to land my 1st Blue Marlin with Captain Mike and Cody!!! When we hooked up on the Marlin, it was a well rehearsed coordination and operation by capt mike and cody. Cody was a machine at clearing 4 other lines /rigs while capt mike gave verbal commands to me.  Furthermore, Im super impressed with the knowledge and instruction that Capt Mike and Cody gave my wife and I prior to our catch. Detail specific instruction and rehearsal, felt like I had been fishing with them for years!! Lastly,  I cant thank you enough gentlemen!!! If youre considering a trip to hunt a big blue marlin and are serious about a once in a lifetime opportunity, look no further!!  I will be fishing with Beast Mode and crew every year for the big blue monster!!!

Captain Mike and Cody were great start to finish. Cody was the most informative co- captain i have met. Very knowledgeable on the island, fishing, and even gave recommendations on places to eat and fish recipes. Though we only hooked up once (spearfish we lost right at the boat) it was not for a lack of trying. The boat and gear are hands down the nicest on the island from what I could tell. If you are trying to decide on booking a trip, book Beast Mode…. You won’t be disappointed in the crew, the boat, and your best chance on hooking some fish of a lifetime.

We thoroughly enjoyed Capt Mike and First Mate Cody, getting us on fish and hunt them down.  The boat, gear and equipment is top notch, and being able to track down fish and get everyone ready for the strike was a unique experience I had not had before.  They made us feel at home and let our boys fight fish and bring in the big one.  We had an amazing time, having great excitement and awesome videos to remember the day.  I hope we make it back to Big Island and if so, will book with them again.
