I've been Salmon, Trout and Steelhead fishing for as long as I can remember. I grew up on Vancouver Island learning techniques to catch these trophy fish and want to share my knowledge with others.

I took a half day drift with Alex at the end of December 2015 and it was a great day.  The sun was shining, the fish were biting and he was a wonderful guide. He really understands the behaviour of the fish and flow of the river so can get you into the high action spots. He knows every nook and cranny of the cowichan river! There were a few other people steelhead fishing the river that day and they got skunked but we were able to hook a few. It’s too bad my technique needs a bit more work, but he was a great coach and really helped me not just catch the amazing Vancouver Island Steelhead but also understand them a little better. I had an absolute blast and we shared lots of laughs and good conversation. The charter was adventurous but relaxed and fun. I can’t say enough about it and would recommend to anyone to spend the day fishing with this great guy.
