Captain Glen Jepson was born and bred in Townsville, and has spent much of his life fishing the estuaries, rivers and headlands within a 200km radius of the city of Townsville, including the world heritage Hinchinbrook Channel and the mighty Burdekin region. Glen created Fairdinkum Fishing in 1995, and for over 20 years has been guiding fishermen to target large Barramundi and many other species that the area has to offer, using lures, fly, soft plastics and live baits. To date, he has notched over 1,200 metre plus trophy Barramundi.
